Hi-Cut RFQ Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Hi-Cut Shilat Ltd ("Hi-Cut", "we", "us"), Israel, handles information in Hi-Cut RFQ, available at https://rfq-tdfazfyvaq-zf.a.run.app. Hi-Cut RFQ is an internal tool for Hi-Cut staff and a few invited partners. It is not a public service.

1. What Hi-Cut RFQ does

Hi-Cut RFQ is an internal web dashboard. It reads requests for quotation (RFQs) that customers email to Hi-Cut, analyzes the emails and attached drawings with AI, and drafts an internal contract review document. Hi-Cut's team checks every draft.

2. Information we collect

Sign-in information

Users sign in with Google ("Sign in with Google"). We receive only the user's Google account email address. We do not access the user's Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or any other Google data.

Only people added to the user list by an administrator can sign in. Their email address is kept on that list with their permission level (Editor or Viewer) until the administrator removes them.

RFQ data

Emails sent to Hi-Cut's own @hicut.com mailboxes, their attachments, and files uploaded by Hi-Cut staff. This can include customers' names, email addresses, company details and technical drawings.

Activity logs

Actions in the dashboard are logged together with the user's email address, for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use information

  • Sign-in email: to verify identity and control access to the dashboard.
  • RFQ data: only to prepare quotes and contract reviews.
  • Activity logs: only for security and troubleshooting.

4. Google user data

Hi-Cut RFQ's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The only Google user data we receive is the account email address. We use it solely to sign users in and manage their access. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone else.

5. Cookies

Hi-Cut RFQ uses one cookie: a signed session cookie that keeps the user signed in for up to 7 days. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

6. AI processing and service providers

RFQ data is processed on Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini), in the Israel region (me-west1) where available. It is stored in Hi-Cut's Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets) and Google Cloud Firestore. Temporary copies of large attachments are deleted automatically after one day.

Google acts as Hi-Cut's service provider. RFQ data is not used to train AI models.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with anyone other than Google as our service provider, except where required by law.

8. Retention

  • User list: until an administrator removes the user.
  • Activity logs: 30 days.
  • Temporary copies of large attachments: deleted automatically after one day.
  • RFQ data: kept as part of Hi-Cut's business records, for as long as required for quality records under AS9100 / ISO 9001.

9. Security

Access is limited to authorized users. Connections use HTTPS encryption. We rely on Google Cloud security controls to protect stored data.

10. Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, including Amendment 13, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. To make a request, email admin@hicut.com.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always posted on this page, with its effective date at the top.
